Idle or Trans Problem 850 1993

Posted recently about potential trans problem. The car will not idle in gear. It appears to surge like the torque converter is not slipping. Suggestions were to clean the throttle body, check and clean the idle air valve.

Well with all that done, still have the problem. I actually removed the throttle body and cleaned. I also removed the idle air valve...assumed it was the cylinder part next to the throttle body. Still no help.

How does the air valve actually work? It appeared to close??

The A1 codes are 111. The only place I was able to find codes was the A7. Can someone post the codes for this section? Does anyone have other suggestions? There were essentially no codes other that A7 and some on the ABS section (A3??).
