Joe, thanks for the great info!

I'll definitely let you know when ready to to the job.

two related questions:

- have seen a tool which "stakes" the timing gears in place so they don't move once old belt comes off. ipd offers it; says only used up to 98?

- go with Volvo brand timing belt or is there a equivalent after market brand? Have had good luck with Conti belts on my 240s.
