S70 a/c lights flashing S70

Hi Dave,

The flashing lights on the climate control panel simply mean that there is a fault with the system. It could be anything from a temperature sensor fault to a blower motor problem. What you need to do is to have the codes read off from the Electronic Climate Control (ECC) module. This will tell you where to start. The lights do not necessarily indicate a serious problem (I have only ever seen minor climate control faults in these cars). A common failure in the S70 is the in-cabin temp sensor, for example. It is a relatively cheap part and can be installed in ten minutes. Anyway, don't panic, just have the codes read out and then you will know where to go from there. Let me know if you need anything...
