What is the Matter w/ VOLVO? 850 1995

I purchased my 1995 Volvo 850 GLT Sedan in October 1994, have over 132,000 miles on it and have spent to date about $10,000 to maintain it.
This includes all the routine items. Here's a breakdown of the expenses:

Regular Services (40k, 60k, 90k, 120k, etc) = $3,065
Tire replacement, alignment, etc. = $2,040
Transmission related work = $1,516
Brake replacement and repairs = $1,066
Oil and filter change = $580
AC recharging = $545
Replaced ABS Control Unit = $501
Replaced 2 Antennas = $238
Electrical repairs and replacement = $188
Replaced 2 batteries = $162
Smog test = $130
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Total cost to date = $10,031 (46% of the total expenses occurred during the last three years, 2003-2005)

My 1986 Toyota Camry was literally maintenance-free but the most boring Mom and Pop car to drive and my 2000 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor has cost very little because MB pays all expenses for the first 4 years or 50,000 miles. My Volvo 850 GLT has cost me quite a bit to maintain but for the past 11 years, it has been truly an enjoyable car to drive and when I drive long distance (6 hours or more), I don't feel worn out and unlike like my Toyota I feel very safe in the Volvo. Its a tank. The seats are absolutely the most comfortable of all the cars I've owned. I just wish it had about 20 more horepower. In the future, I'll have to replace the struts.
