Problem keeping car started S40-V40

I have a new problem keeping my S40 started. I can crank the engine, it will start, but then turn off. After it starts I can keep my foot on the gas pedal a bit and the engine will remain running, but as soon as I take my foot off the pedal the engine will turn off. If I walk away and come back after 30 min. the engine will start fine and I can drive away. Any idea what's wrong? It doesn't always do this. It seems to do this on especially cold mornings. I recently had the MAF replaced so I hope that's not the issue.

thanks!
