I need my 850 well again! 850 1993

I have a weird problem with my 850... I just had the fuel pump replaced by a reputable Volvo repair shop. When I picked it up, the check engine light was on. It drove home fine. For the next couple days it would take 2-3 cranks of the ignition to get it started. Then it started idling strangely, and then would not accelerate. We coasted it home and I've tried to make repairs on my own. I have done the following:
1. Put in a new Mass Airflow Sensor
2. New plugs, cap, rotor and plug wires.
3. New battery (it was needed)
4. Found 1 small crack in a in a small valve hose off the IAC and replaced.

Now, the car will barely start and if it does, it will idle very rough, then jump the RPMs, then drop to rough idle again and then die.

I'm at a loss for what to check next...

Any help would be greatly appreciated... BTW, I have a nice MAF sensor for sale... ;-)
