RPM gauge problem? S70 1999

You are lucky you found someone trustable at Expressway. If he ever leaves, you should too. These quicky lube type places are notorious for providing wrong/bad service on Volvo's. Obviously he knows Volvo's and that's nice. I do think however that he or someone else there forgot to reset the service light after the last oil change (easy to do and has to be done each time). The Service Light will come on every 5K miles if not reset. So....it's not coming on due to 60K mile service being needed.

Btw, you can reset the service light yourself by doing this:
* Press and Hold odometer reset button
* Turn ignition switch to "run" position
* After Service Light flashes, release odometer reset button
* Turn ignition off
* Turn ignition back on to confirm reset
