Hi Again,
I've had a rear main seal leak for awhile now.
I have just kept adding oil as needed as I don't want to
pull the engine/trans if I can help it. My question is this.
Has anybody else fixed this in the car or is there an easier way to pull
the eng/trans other than what is shown in the book. Can the eng/trans be
pulled out the top and split them on the bench to replace the seal.
I do all my own work so any advice will be appreciated. I've had this
car since '98 and we love it. Been driving and working on Volvo's
since '86.
