hydraulic bottle jack at LEAST 2 tons lift capacity - cheap, easy to get, goes i nthe spare wheel well and ANYONE can get eh car up (also square of 18mm board to place underito n soft gorund)...oh and an extending wheel wrench to break the lug nuts free....

with those my 4yo could change the wheel...(well perhaps not but you know what i mean!)

FYI my delica has a bottle jack as standard and that weight in at 2500kg!!!
