Clunking noise - again 850

Hi, all,

I noticed a clunking noise from the LF wheel of my 99 v70 (N/a) a couple of weeks ago. The clunking noise is most noticeable after the car has not been driven for a quite while (say overnight) and can only be heard when it is in motion and on the bumping streets. The noise will generally subside after the car is driven for a several minutes. Simply depressing the LF suspension will not produce any unusual sound. I checked it this weekend and found the outer tie rod end on the left seems not as tight as the right side. Anti-sway bar links are ok (less than 2 months old.). I am going to order a pair of outer tie rod ends and replace them first. Besides the tie rod end, what else could cause the problem? Thank you for your input.

Best,

P.
