S 70 Blower problem S70 2000

I have a 2000 s 70 and the blower started making a noise about 2 weeks ago and I shut the blower off and turned it back on and the noise went away. Then today
when I turned the ac on the ac was cold and the blower motor blew for about 2 seconds the stopped and the light on the ac button and the recirculation button light is blinking. If I turn the car off and repeat it does the same thing over and over. I would love to fix it myself, I don't have the extra money to take it to a dealer and have them rummage threw my wallet rite now!
Thanks
Dennis
