selling 855T, frustrated 850 1996

I'm having a hard time selling my extremely well-maintained, loaded, excellent driving and excellent looking, rust-free 1996 850T wagon with just 99k miles. Can't figure what the problem is; after a long period of no interest at all (despite ads in two local papers and an ad on Brickboard), I got an offer today that was $1,000 under Kelley's "good" figure. This car is "very good." He won't budge and I am not willing to accept the offer. So we move on.

Kelley says $6500 is the "good" private party value for the car, and that doesn't include the 4 Hakkas, on rims, that come with. The car has also received key repairs that any new owner should be pleased by: heater core, alternator and battery, brakes, ABS unit, shocks, struts, and control arms, etc. Also did the T-belt at 71k, and the full 60k and 90k services...

Aren't Volvos known for keeping their value? I'm not asking the world, just the Kelley value.
