Advise on a 1996 850 GLT 160K miles 850 1996

Hi Guys & Gals,
I am trying to decide on a 1996 850 GLT as a replacement for my 1987 240. The problem is the 850 is being sold "AS IS" and has a few symptoms. The major one seems to be electrical/computer/module related. The symptoms I have noticed are:

1. The ABS lights is always on
2. Indicators (flashers) don't work
3. Cruise control not operational
4. Seat warmers don't work
5. A/C-Climate Control does not cool
6. Speedometer does not work at all
7. Could not detect if the turbo was kicking in

All fuses are good, no visible burnt wires, engine runs flawlessly.
Things like power locks, keyless entry, alarm system, power roof, power seat, all work normally.
My worry is that the fix might be very expensive and what started out as a good deal quickly turns into a very bad nightmare.
I would be very appreciative of any thoughts or sugestions/ideas from anyone who might have had a similar experience. I appologise for the long post.
Regards,
o2man
