Disable S80's Warning Message S80

I would suspect the dreaded ETS (ETS or ETM is the Electronic Throttle Sensor/Module). It's at least a $1000 fix. Sorry to give you the bad news...but it will cause your car to surge and/or have bad idle, eventually causing your car to go into a "limp-home-mode." Read about it here if you're concerned: www.vexedvolvo.org I agree with the other poster...get it fixed. Even if you sell the car with that issue, the buyer will either want you to fix it or will want about $1000 deducted from the asking price. Either way, it's a crappy deal, but still you'll be dealing with it one way or another.
