Starting problems with the car S70 1999

Your Mom's car is probably OK. The 5 cylinder engines don't like to be started and shut off while still cold. That has happened to me a couple of times with my 850 and when I pulled a plug, it was dirty and wet. I bought a bottle of injector cleaner and poured it into the tank before a road trip and I haven't had a problem since.
