850 oil question 850

Hi Marty,

This 850 already has 130 K miles on it. Would it do much good to switch to synthetic after the car has had dino oil in it that long? ( wouldn't my turbo bearings already be worn a bit?). On the other hand, I run M1 synthetic in my '84 760 turbo and am pleased with the results. When I look into the oil filler cap, the engine looks brand new inside. Same thing in a '93 960 that I just sold. M1's automatic transmission fluid is great, too.

Do you know the thickest oil that M1 makes in synthetic? I like to run the heavier stuff in the summer here in WV.
