Humming noise from shut off engine!! S70 1998

Hi all
My wife's 1998 S70 Non-Turbo makes a humming noise while parked with the ignition off. It seems to be coming from the engine compartment. I had Victor do his magic to the ABS Control Module recently. Could the hum come from this? I thought about pulling the battery cable off for a hour then seeing if that makes a difference. Thinking it might reset or something.
Last week she didn't drive the car for a few days and when she tried to, the battery was dead. Winter is coming and I don't want her to get stranded.
Any ideas!
