CV Boot Replacement 850 1994

You need to use a "Jimmy tool," Volvo part number # 999-5462-0 to get it loose from the transmission...looks like a big crow's foot, so you might find something like it you could use.

I would like to offer my personal suggestion here: These drive shaft CV joints/boots are a major pain and even if replaced, there is no guarantee that things will return to normal. Save yourself the headache and buy a rebuilt drive shaft from www.fcpgroton.com for $95 ($75 core exchange). Here's the link: http://www.fcpgroton.com/volvo850driveline.htm
