Manual aircon circuit diagram? S40-V40 1998

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the manual aircon system? I've got a Haynes book and found it not too bad, but there is no circuit diagram for the aircon (neither for ECC). Does someone have this?

The fault I'm trying to fix is on my "new" car, bought it like that. When you turn on the aircon, the condenser fan turns on and the compressor clutch engage, but there is barely any cooling. Also, but perhaps not related, the heater takes for ever to raise the temperature. Apparently at some stage an aircon hose was replaced, and I can see there is a new radiator as well (not Volvo). The aircon gas is full. So being an electronic engineer, I want to eliminate electrical faults before taking the car to a shop. Will really appreciate it if someone has a diagram for me...

Note: The manual aircon does not have flaps to calibrate, and the heater valve is a direct cable control as opposed to the post-'98 models which (I think) all has ECC with electronic control.
