Do you remember where that wire was going? This would be a nice fix.

I am also looking into another possibility - my ABS unit started to leak slowky, and brake fluid may drip on the transmission. Maybe it finds its way in the connector and affects power connection to the SL solenoid.

Does anyone have drawings/pictures of the transmission which shows locations of the valve unit and other parts of it?
