Transmission (Nobody is Surprised) V70-XC70 2002

My 2002 V70 XC hesitates when you put it in drive then goes into first rather hard. OK, so I've read like 10 threads on this topic. My tranny was properly flushed completely with the recommended synthetic at 60K. The "software upgrade" was done. Still, hesitation and a hard engage. You're all likely tired of this can of worms but I'm open to your thoughts. Much appreciated.
