Brake Pedal Goes Low -- 1998 S70 GLT

Hello all,

Back in April (about 7 months ago) I had the brakes inspected since the brake pedal was going low. The dealer bled the brake system and things were fine for a period of time. About 3 or so months ago the brake pedal is again going low and is in fact going all the way to the bottom. I called the service adviser and he said that it could either be the master cylinder or the booster but they have to inpect it first. Even though the pedal goes all the way down the brakes still seems to be working fine. When I jam on the pedal I get that cushion feel and some slight braking until it reaches the botton then the brakes really bite.

What are the symptoms of a failing brake booster?
What other symptoms should I check myself?

Thanks in advance!
