Used 93 850 GLT, Good Deal? 850

I am thinking about purchasing a used 93 850 GLT for $2000. I test drove it yesterday. It drove nice, transmission shifted nicely on all settings, It had some small rattling in the cabin but I don't think that it was anything major. I did notice that when I braked the brakes seemed to grab and let go of the rotor, What could that be? I also noticed that the brakes had a burning type smell what could that be? The only thing that looked bad was that the clear coat was coming off the spoiler. The interior was slight used but that is to be expected for a 12 year old car. The mileage was 134,704.

Is this a goood deal? Any opinion appreciated
