low coolant/leak? 850

Hi,

On my 850, I have had (and still am still having) an issue like yours. If you follow the cooland line towards the firewall, you will see that there a small section ( 2 to 3 inches long)of the line which is a tube (black). I have had cracks in that tube which slowly leaked cooland over time. Run your fingers under that tube (after the car been driven) and if you feel that it is wet then the tube is cracked and needs to be change. You might also see some liquid accumation on a metal plate under that tube. I had my tube changed 2 years ago, and it is now starting too leak again. Maybe other members might have a suggestion on a more reliable oand permanent solution.

Hope this helps,

Le Huan
