Dear Theresa, thanks for your really great and understandable answers to my questions. I am sure that you are right on each count and I really appreciate your help.
I have one more question that I forgot to ask. The original invoice for my C70 lists a feature called home safe lighting. Do you have any idea what this is? The owners manual makes no mention of this whatsoever.
My wife's '01 V70 T5 has something called approach lighting that is turned on by a separate button on the keyless remote that turns on white lights under both outside rear view mirrors. However, I don't have any such button on my C70 remote nor are there any lights underneath the rear view mirrors.
