tranny help needed for my 850 850 1994

Was your e-brake on before you clicked it down and out of your way? I've heard a lot lately about these searing up and sticking even when you let them down. It would be hard to imagine that your tranny took a dive like this and If I were a betting man, I would say that it didn't. Could also be the P&N switch, but if you rocked the gear shift 30 times, I doubt that is it either. These things don't just suddenly happen.
