The fuel pump should not leak gas only when the tank is full. Check the tank overflow pipes inside the trunk, you will have to remove the cloth cover on the right side. It's highly unlikely that the pipe came loose, but it needs checking. Leave the cover off, fill the tank, and inspect it for weepage.

BTW, when the pump clicks off, do not add that last little bit more. Your tank is full enough and too much will just be wasted or your first hard right turn!
