1999 V70 R AWD 100K

My fluid indicator light keeps coming on, so i refill the reservoir and drive on. I've had the car about 2 months. Occasionally I get a little cloud of smoke on the freeway when I pass someone.

Do I have a blown head gasket?

Should I have a compression test done, or is a little water usage normal?
