ETM failure update--good news! V70-XC70 2000

To recap: The ETM on our 2000 V70 went out last Friday. Towed to dealer who claimed they knew nothing about an extended warranty. So I called Volvo customer care and they assured me that the warranty had been extended and that the ETM would be replaced for free. And guess what? Volvo replaced the ETM for free and we're back on the Oregon roads!

Thank a lot to all of you at Brickboard who forced the issue with Volvo and allowed us to now benefit!
