Mystery vacuum hose V70-XC70 1998

I think I have the same setup; '98 V70 N/A. The thin, hard plastic, black hose on my air box feeds around to where the air intake hose connects to the air box. To find it, follow the air intake hose from the grill area to the air box (looking from the front of the car). Just where the intake hose meets the box is where the black hose connects with a 90 degree elbow. It's difficult to see unless your in front of the car. I hope this helps.
