'99 v70xc Transmission Fluid V70-XC70 1999

Just making sure that the guy at Advanced auto parts sold me the right fluid, I have dexron 3.
The other day my transmission started to have a real hard downshift into first gear, and after that it will not shift into 4th until about 3100 rpm's, I have also noticed that when this is occuring I cannot get the orange arrow on the dash to light up with the "w" button, it will light up when I manually shift into third. Does any have a similar experience? my heater also only works when it feels like it, and yes I have the automatic climate system. I am going to change the fluid in the trans. and probably go to the shop for the heater.
