I have just made this repair, I purchased the door check from FCP Groton CT.
They were very helpful.Taking the inside panel off takes some time.Removal of the inside handle, speaker, weather stripping etc,you also need a Tork bit to remove the bolt in the part. also before installing you need to adjust the part {the door check} before installing.It has two humps on it . also fitting the part inside the door takes patiences you need to lift and twist it into place.I should take about an hour to do but it took me over two I broke the bolt off. but it worked out well after that and for 25.00$ it was worth it.
