Outside temperature gauge dead V70-XC70 1998

On my 850 I saw this after replacing the a/c receiver dryer. I had dislodged the connector for the outside air temp sensor, leaving an open circuit condition. On the 850 this sensor is at the lower passenger side out in front; maybe same place on the v70. See if the connector is loose or a wire is broken.
