I had an '89 740 until April 2002; I rejoined the fold three months ago with an '01 S60 base model. However, I can't stop lurking over in RWD!

You'll need a proper wrench to remove the oil filter housing, but it's very easy to remove. Oil changes are very convenient on the 5 cylinder, with nothing down there to wiggle around.
