V70R V70-XC70 2006

Actually spoke to an R model owner yesterday while i was volvo shopping. when i asked him if he liked the car, he hesitated for a few seconds which gave me time to tell him he answered my question with his hesitation. He told me that the car was meant to engage into fwd automatically, depending on driving condition, and that, at times he would hear and feel a grinding sound & vibration in the front wheel.I think gears were unsuccessfully trying to mesh (but who the hey am i?)He then went on to tell me he had splurged and put in a chip that produced 340 something horse power - GO MAN GO - Wonder why at a 150+mph that those fwd gears are having a hard time engaging? In the end he said he liked the car though.
