Check Engine Code P0303 V70-XC70

The check engine light was on and would start to blink periodically. This blinking seems to have been in conjunction with another and subsequent misfire cinditions based on performance. When the motor smoothed out the light would stop blinking and stay steady on. The car was running like crap before and now it is "normal" after I did the plugs, wires, d-cap & rotor. I had the codes reset and the light is gone. I think the culprit was the D-cap and rotor. Looked pretty tore up in there.

But now you have me worried...about the plugs...how can a spark plug cause major engine failure? I did not get the Volvo plugs, I had no idea there was a significant difference. I am not questioning what you say is correct, I just don't understand...

Michael
