HUGE drop in gas mileage 850 1997

Just had a HUGE drop in my gas mileage. Had a CEL come one and I read the codes and replaced the fuel pressure regulator and front O2 sensor. Even followed the service bulletin from Volvo or North America and re-routed both O2 sensor wires. But, my mileage has dropped from around 27 to 17!!!

I'm meticulous on the maintenance and of course it has a clean throttle body, new plugs, K & N air filter, new wires, cap, rotor, clean flame trap, gas filter (about 20k on it), and the car runs GREAT!!

Any suggestions on what the cause might be would certainly be appreciated in advance.
