control arms 850 1996

I just did this for my '96 850 with 112,000k on it. The clunk from my front end was two things: one was the right upper strut mount (which I assumed you replaced with the struts... as did I) and the other was the right end link, which you should also replace. I also replaced the control arms due to a tire wearing unevenly, but not a clunk.

Take it from me, the control arms are a cake walk compared to getting that strut tower out and dealing with compressing the spring and all that... but I think you would be better advised to change the end links before just jumping on the control arms.
