Help with leaking Sunroof S70 1998

I went out and rolled Mary's sunroof back to look for your rubber trim strip. There is a windshield wiper size strip across the front of the moving glass panel. It runs across the whole front edge of the weather strip that surrounds the glass panel and extends down and forward about 1/8 inch. It looks to be molded into the same piece of rubber as the weather strip surround. Is this what you are talking about? It doesn't seem to be removable. Is it possible that it was torn off somehow, albeit very cleanly so it looks like a separate piece?

If that's it, I'm amazed such a large leak can result for lack of so small a lip.

Maybe you can just glue it back on there with some of that "Gorilla Glue".

edit: I sent you an email on this.
