Passenger front abs sensor 850

I am getting the abs light and the code is for the faulty sensor on the passenger front. What could this mean I will tell you i had to have the lower control arm replaced ( i couldn't get one of the bolts loose and had to have it heated up with a torch wich i dont own)
I also noticed couple weeks later that the cable was broken going to the sensor. I relaired it but not sure if that was a god fix for it. Now i want to know if it's the sensor or cable?
