Look, Victor doesn't advise anyone to drive with the ABS unit out, in fact he warns against it...the responsible thing to do. This is at our own risk and knowledge that if we are in an accident then the $hit can hit the fan. I had no other choice but to drive my car for the 3 days mine was out while Victor repaired and sent mine back to me (Thanks Victor!). Things went well. I just had to know how fast I was going on the interstate from the RPM's because the speedo nor odo worked (which you mentioned and I know about...and I knew that the ABS wouldn't work, and possibly the air bags- which I'm still unclear about).
Anyway, in regards to you selling your rebuild only in Canada, if this is what you do, then you need to state this in your posts. Your postings here and on other Volvo boards never mention this. Also, in regards to '02's...I don't believe that Victor does these anyway, so you may have something to offer folks with these cars, but to be honest, I've never heard of an ABS module in that year or newer Volvo's going out, though, I'm sure they have...it's just not as common like it is on later model 850's and early 70 series cars. What bugs me is that Victor has a 100% track record (I've read no negative posts at all about his service), while we know nothing about you. Then I see you coming on these boards with no one giving you any positive feedback. So...I think this shifting away from you to Victor is only natural. In fact, in this thread there was a negative post about your service (true or not, I don't know). So, until you have some people giving you positive feedback on these forums, I would think that you really don't stand a chance of getting folk's business here...I'm not trying to be mean, just stating the facts. If, for instance I didn't know about Victor and had sent you my ABS module and was thoroughly satisfied with your service and rebuild, then I would be posting raving reviews about you here.
