AM radio Static S80

I have a 2000 s80 and fixed it myself. Should be the same for your car. The copper strip is sold at the dealer for about $3-$4 bucks and mine had a brief description on what to do. You need to take off the panel(on the drivers side, in the back, between the rear window and the rear side window). This panel from what i remember kinda pulls and slides off at the same time. A little tricky but plan to spend 5-10 mins getting it off and it will be a little easier putting back on once you get the hang of what to do. The panel is about 1' x 1.5' section and once off, it exposes the antenna box. Follow the simple directions and make sure the clip locks when you reconnect the antenna. The fix makes the am static go noticably away but still not high quality (compared to other cars in the same location). Good luck.
