Engine cuts off without warning while driving 850 1993

does not sound like the fuel pump relay, the tell tale sign of this is usually the engine refusing to start for a few minutes while the relay resets itself. My 93 850 suffered from this for a year before I found this site.

Have you tried anything as simple as fuel injector cleaner? Also, when was teh last time your fuel filter was replaced? It sounds like a hiccup in the line associated with a temporary drop of pressure/flow rate.
