P0340 Cel and no start S70

Cam position sensor causes a no start, because the engine is in "survival mode" when it loses contact with a particularly sensitive part of the top end.

If, for instance, the cam were out of position, the engine would not start. When the sensor loses contact, the engine (ECU) has to assume the worse, and will fail to start.

Disconnecting batter will do you no good. If the code re-appears, you will be stranded! Buy a Equus Innova 3100 ODBII code reader for $100.

Plan on budgeting for the CPS too.
