How do you work the rearview mirror? S60 2001

I am learning how to work my 2001 S60T5 and am very happy with it in most
respects. But:
The rearview mirror seems to be different from the one shown in the owner's
manual. The manual shows a small trigger or tab in the bottom of the mirror
to change from normal to anti-glare. But there is not trigger or tab, only a
small hole. It doesn't look like it has been damaged, but maybe it is a later
model mirror. I saw a mirror module on ebay for a 2002 that looks like mine,
and doesn't seem to have any control.

So what do I do to eliminate glare from vehicles behind me whose headlights
are too high or too bright?

(Sorry if I seem ignorant. With post-75 models, I guess I really AM!)
