All of our leather seats are cracking. The best thing you can do for the seats is to apply lanolin so that it stays soft.
There is no such thing as a cheap fix for cracked/torn seats. Makes me wish my car had cloth!
The dealers will farm out to an upholstery shop. Look in the yellow pages and visit as many as you can. Around here, about $500 for each bottom. If you live close to Mexico, it would be worth a weekend trip.
