Replacing the bulbs is not particularly difficult but may take some contortionistic acts by your hands. There are round access covers behind each bulb in the back of the headlight housing - these rotate perhaps 1/4 turn and come right out. If you reach in, you can grab the bulb connector. They will rotate and come out as well. After that, two small plastic tabs hold the bulb into the connector.
I would highly recommend you practice taking a bulb out, then putting it back in to make sure you have the hang of lining up the keyed notches both on the bulb and the access cover before replacing any of the bulbs. I spent a good hour in the parking lot of AutoZone last Friday in the rain and snow, cussing and trying to replace a low beam bulb that just didn't want to go in straight. An inspection mirror would probably be a good idea to make sure it's lining up correctly.
I had to replace a low bulb last year, so I put in a new pair of Sylvanias. They lasted less than 18 months, so I put in Philips bulbs this time. Others have had opinions on Sylvania SilverStars on here, you might find their comments worth a quick search.
