Anti Sway Bar Problems 850

Failure of the swaybar endlinks is common in 850s. The fix is to replace the entire link. You can get them at IPD or FCP Groton. Easy to replace and inexpensive.

Regarding shocks and struts this is very much a taste issue, but you are well overdue. I put on Bilstein HD shocks and struts and love the taut handling they provide. Some like a little cushier ride, Bilstein Touring are good choices for that. I went the full route and also put in IPD heavy duty swaybars. My car is a joy to drive with these mods--the ride is stiff and taut which I like and I really appreciate the wonderful directional control--and at 62, I'm not a kid. I did all this myself, but it's fairly major work that you might want to have done for you.

Additionally, it wouldn't hurt to have a good alignment shop check out your tie rod links and ball joints if you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself.
