What is a 'Gold Edition' R ? 850 1997

Gee guys, I am sensing a bit of sarcasm here. To my disappointment, no gold spray has been applied to any other parts of the vehicle :-)

The funny thing is, it actually does not have an "R" on the back (no golden R available at PepBoys?). But it has the humongous air dam / moosecatcher in front, the suede/smooth leather seats, and the Autocheck vehicle history lists it as an R. So it's an R in my book. However, the (whole-)seller is unaware it's an R, and has priced the car accordingly.
