light bulb change under the AT transmission

There are 6 torx screws that hold down the console. 2 under the arm rest and 1 by the cigar lighter, and 1 under the OBDII cover (looks like a coin holder). 2 more under the ashtray area, but those may not be needed. You should be able to lift the center console up far enough to replace the bulb with out removing the 2 torx forward of the ashtray.
Be careful of the light in the rear of the console, there isn't much extra wire and it will pull loose if the console is raised to high. Stop by the dealer to get a replacement bulb first and ask how much it will cost to have them replace it. Might be worthwhile?
